He graduated from Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in Mequon, WI, and from 2005-2015 was blessed to serve the Hispanic congregations of Christ and St. Peter Lutheran churches in the inner city of Milwaukee.
He’s grateful God has now given him the opportunity to continue preaching the Word on the southern end of the beautiful Caribbean coast of Mexico, based out of the town of Mahahual.
In his free time Pastor Valleskey enjoys outdoor activities and smoking meat, and is currently learning some new ocean sports.
His prayer is to share with the people around him salvation in Jesus through a “righteousness that is by faith from first to last” (Romans 1:17).

Christopher was born and raised in Edna, Texas. By God's grace, at the age of 10, he became a Christian and active church member. He was lovingly supported and encouraged by his church and pastor and was introduced to Martin Luther College (our church body's training school for pastors and teachers) during his senior year of high school. He enrolled to train as a teacher.
While attending Martin Luther College, Chris was able to teach English in Peru, as well as to study Spanish in Chile. He prayed the Lord would guide him and give him the opportunity to serve abroad.
After graduation, he taught in China with Friends of China for one year. Upon returning to Texas, he began teaching middle school English. During his first year of teaching, Costa Maya Ministries called Chris to serve as the Educational Director. After prayerful consideration and with the encouragement of family, friends and his church, he accepted.
Chris is very thankful that God has given him the opportunity to share the Gospel and God's love to the people of the Costa Maya region.
